Layers Acoustic Panel

The collaboration with Monica Armani reflects Edsbyn’s commitment to constantly moving forward, boldly creating innovative products. Acoustic panels are often designed to blend in, offering functionality without drawing attention from the room’s overall décor. With Layers, Monica Armani wanted to create something that stands out and contributs with form, color, and function — taking up as much space as the room allows. The playful design provides effective sound absorption and transforms into a work of art, its impact only growing stronger as more panels are added.

Layers is an intriguing product still under development, and it will be available for order later in 2025.

The smooth base panel has a soft surface that absorbs sound, while the hard material of the mushroom-shaped wooden elements bounces the sound waves. The combination of concave, convex, and flat surfaces directs sound waves in different directions, resulting in a clearer auditory experience. The mushroom-shaped components, in various sizes, allow for the creation of levels, which maximizes both the visual expression and the effect on the acoustic environment.
