Luca Nichetto (b.1976 Italy) graduated in industrial design at Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (IUAV) 1998, and worked at classic Italian companies like Salviati and Foscarini before founding his studio in the hometown of Venice in 2006.

The studio grew fast through international assignments for producers such as Moooi (NL), Established & Sons (UK) och Bernhardt Design (US), and in 2011 a second studio was established in Stockholm. Nichetto has acted as creative director for furniture companies Wittmann (AT), Zaozuo (CN) and besides from furniture- and product design, the studio also have made widely publicised interiors for clients like French fashion house Hermés. In 2022 the first comprehensive monograph on Luca Nichetto was published by Phaidon.
